APP #1 D&Due's

Jennifer Kim- Bio 121 & CHE 116. Do&Due strategy
Jongwon Lee- Bio 326 & ENL 211. Do&Due Strategy

We chose to use the Do and Due strategy for our courses. We chose to use this strategy because there are many due dates for our assignments, and it's crucial for us to know when our exam dates are. Do and due's were very effective in showing what we needed to achieve that day, and it helps us to prepare for our exams in advance. Many times when we did not record what we needed to accomplish for that day, we would have difficulty knowing which assignments to get started on. It helps us to "chunk our tasks" so that we can get done with our homework assignments on time, without trying to do it all at once. Yet, there were difficult times when we were too lazy to write out all the tasks because we were not used to taking out our pens and notebooks. In addition, when we listed all the do’s for the day, it was hard to finish all our tasks at a limited time space. For example, sometimes we realize that we need more time to finish our biology assignments even if we plan to finish it at a certain time. We would use up more time working on our do’s when we should be doing other things such as sleeping.

(Jennifer's Do&Due- I realized I needed to specifically write which pages to read and to fill up every single day's "do" task.)

(Jongwon's Do & Due.. I realized I needed a real schedule notebook from now on for better organization.)
