I chose to do ranking priorities because I did not know which assignments to start on, and I was not feeling motivated to do work after I had finished an exam last week. Ranking priorities helped me to know which task I had to accomplish first. I had to write down all my to-do’s and then rank their importance according to the due dates. I loved it because it was simple, and it didn’t take a long time to rank them. I felt less stressed out because my priorities are outlined and organized for me.

I chose to do the “one step at a time” strategy for my chemistry class, because I know that I am falling behind and the exam is next week. I feel very anxious I am not going to do very well. So, I addressed my problem and listed my consequences and solutions. After writing these things down, the possible to do’s helped me to see different options of things I could do to help myself, and I was more motivated to fix the problem. I did practice problems with my friend and went over the lecture notes together. It helped immensely!
