App #3 Preparation for the Next Test

Jennifer Kim-
Bio 121 for Strategy Q&A Map & Directional Word Analysis

I chose to do the Q&A Map because I wanted to see what types of questions appeared the most on Biology exams. This will help me to predict what the next exam will look like, and prioritize on focusing in definition, analogies, image labeling, and then true/false question. I had make adaptations such as taking notes when Dr. Wiles went over the past exam questions. I thought it was really difficult to take notes because he was very quick, and it was hard to write down every exam question word for word. Also, the screen projection was not very clear so I had to look very carefully.

I chose to do the directional word analysis to know which words to look for when answering long-worded questions. I thought it was effective in becoming familiar with the types of questions, especially since questions are worded in ways that is difficult to know what it's asking for. When I prepare for the next exam, I could use these directional words to quiz myself. I had to adapt myself to go over the notes that I took from exam review, and list all the directional words on paper.
